Position Summary This position is a cross-functional role, and is primary responsible for delighting and educating customers during every interaction, as well as executing floor prep and warehouse functions. This is accomplished by helping every guest to find their inspiration through style, design, quality, and/or price and by building great relationships based on trust. This role will also execute floor moves and assist with managing product flow and warehouse functions.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guest Engagement - Greet and engage customers and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and supporting behaviors. Handle guest transactions and the checkout process.

  • Training - Complete and demonstrate the ability to effectively execute to company expectations all new hire and ongoing training modules. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Living Spaces Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOP)

    • Onboarding training modules, including completion of Learning Spaces courses

    • Guest Engagement Training

    • Department Selling Strategy Training

    • Product Knowledge Training

    • Department Safety

    • POS

  • Store/Department Experience - Ensure that the retail outlet is "Grand Opening" ready by completing the daily task list.

  • Shipping and Receiving - Acknowledgement of product when it arrives at the warehouse and management of transfers, vendor drops, customer returns, shipping companies, etc.

  • Product Flow - Execute all floor moves given by management and the leadership team. Ensure all products scheduled to showcase are properly assembled and processed to Living Spaces brand standards.

  • Merchandising - Execute all areas of the showroom with proper placement, accessorizing, and location of product. Create a living experience for the guest. Ensure all labeling duties are executed on a daily basis.

  • Team - Actively support and contribute to the retail outlet team with the goal of helping the entire team delight guests and achieve revenue targets.

  • SOP - Adhere to all company standard operating policies and procedures, and execute company directives as assigned.

  • Reporting - Ensure all reports are accurate and to company levels.

  • Safety - Review and address safety concerns throughout the store.

  • Inventory - Ensure that all merchandise is properly inventoried and binned.

  • Complete other duties assigned at the discretion of management.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Prior experience in retail is preferred by not required.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $17.25 - $22.40

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
