Description

*Overview*

Commercial Truck Equipment Salespeople for this vertical are the main conduit between Canada’s municipalities, airports, industrial operators, and us. It’s their job to anticipate, understand, and define customer needs for snow clearing, put together professional and competitive bids, and then work hand-in-hand with the customer to get their equipment specced, on-site, and in service. To that end, we’re searching for our next *Outside Salesperson* for an Ontario territory, working remotely, independently, and traveling interprovincially. Reasonable proximity to our Ayr, ON branch and YYZ or YXU would also be important.

The individual who would be successful in this role will probably come to us with some manner of knowledge in the work truck and heavy equipment space, as well as previous sales and territory management experience. Knowledge of snow and ice equipment, particularly at the municipal/industrial level would be an asset but is not required. The successful candidate will also be familiar with the RFP/RFQ process and bring a level of confidence in business writing and communication.

Training and product familiarization will be provided to the successful candidate, and forms an ongoing part of the job, but the successful candidate will know how to build and maintain strong social and professional relationships, be technically savvy, and have a very strong drive to win with a sales mindset.
