Job Summary

This position will support the Vistra Energy Retail Financial Planning and Analysis team with a focus on the following:
Driving financial projections, analysis of actual results, and internal / external reporting packages
Coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders including Retail Sales and Operations, Accounting, Risk, and Wholesale Supply teams analysis.

Key Accountabilities

*Lead Retail financial performance analysis across multiple lines of business and regional markets throughout the country*Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and communicate results to business leaders*Structures, plans and coordinates the financial projection and internal/external reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy*Hold others accountable, maintain deadlines, and ensure a well-organized process with a focus on continuous improvement*Understand interaction of financial drivers and drill into variances to Plan and prior year to find meaningful business impactsEducation, Experience, and Skill Requirements*Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics*5+ years of progressive Finance / Accounting experience*Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical skills*Experience working with data and ability to query and analyze data in an efficient manner*Working knowledge of key financial, accounting and business metrics*Ability to interface with and resolve issues with multiple stakeholdersKey Metrics*Ensure that budgets and financial plans submitted by lines of business, and provide constructive feedback to businesses *Solve problems that require constructive thinking and imaginative approaches using data-driven analysis
