What you’ll be doing:

  • Utilize proven sales techniques within your assigned book of business to retain and grow Jan/San and Breakroom sales, including Cleaning Chemicals & Supplies, Janitorial Paper & Dispensers, Hand Soaps & Sanitizers, Safety Supplies, Coffee Brewer Programs, and more. 
  • Regularly use enablement and digital selling tools to manage your pipeline of opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and advancement of potential deals. 
  • Ensure program compliance across all account sites, especially among top users. 
  • Implement and ramp wins by driving adoption and compliance among end users. 
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key individuals who influence or control purchasing decisions. 
  • Collaborate with internal sales and/or sales support teams to ensure optimal outcomes for customers.  
  • Involved in pricing discussions for specific sales opportunities. 
  • Use your account knowledge and consider future spend potential when making discretionary pricing decisions. 
  • Manage the process of bidding and providing quotes to customers and make informed decisions based on your understanding of the account and its needs. 
  • As necessary, handle contract renewals related to FS and maintain ongoing business relationships.

  • Strong skills in selling, presenting, and communicating while engaging with customers.

  • You stay informed about industry developments to offer relevant solutions. 
  • Strong aversion to complacency and proven ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity, pivot and do the work differently. 
  • The ability to function independently with minimal daily supervision

 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 3+ years sales experience

 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven record of cultivating and expanding client relationships. 
  • Proficiency in managing the end-to-end sales process
  • A solid knowledge of Jan/San and Breakroom products. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Knowledge of or Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM).
