Your Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Strategy, the Talent Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts. You'll collaborate with the remote talent acquisition team to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. In this role, you will own the coordination of all interview scheduling and logistics, post-offer communications and new hire onboarding, administrative data entry and process and system general support for the talent acquisition team while ensuring an excellent candidate and crew member experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Schedule requested interviews and coordinate travel and logistics for candidates
  • Initiate background check process, document updates, and monitor reports to ensure timely onboarding of candidates
  • Lead the development and maintenance of clear and accurate operations documents and procedures while partnering with the talent team.
  • Assist with system testing for applicant tracking system enhancements and new technology implementations.
  • Partner with internal contacts (Employee engagement, Payroll, Accounting, People Team) to ensure accurate new hire records and documentation both pre and post-hire.
  • Maintain accurate role and candidate data within Greenhouse, Vital Farms Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and consistent candidate communication.
  • Provide an outstanding candidate experience and introduction to Vital Farms through exceptional service, with complete and accurate information about our company and the position.
  • Manage all aspects of data and system entry/reports for the role and provide ad hoc reporting as requested by the TA Manager and/or People Team Leaders
  • Be an ambassador of Vital Farms representing the company in candidate communications as well as at career and industry events for both remote and ECS.
  • Supports overall People Team initiatives and special projects as needed

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in talent operations, recruitment coordination, or a similar role
  • Greenhouse (ATS) experience highly preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-15% for team meetings and company offsites
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain/manage confidential information
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data
