The Sales Specialist I initiates negotiates and closes profitable deregulated energy sales transactions that meet or exceed company goals supporting business accounts.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

*Negotiate and close sales transactions that meet or exceed goals for businesses*Make on-sight customer sales calls ; for existing customers as well as prospective customers*Educate the customer on benefits with staying with or switching to TXUE's products & services*Collect or verify customer contact, business profile and service point information as well as credit information*Collect competitive intelligence information*Update sales opportunity information for prospective customers*Review the customer's usage/profile to ensure pricing accuracy*Review and update system information for accuracy and update customer contact, billing and company data*Maintain and ability to vary sales approach and present different sales pitches depending on market conditions

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

*2 or more years of experience with customer contact or sales*Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills*High School Diploma or equivalency required
