What success looks like in this role:

  • Engage with C-level executives at our most strategic customers
  • Drive innovation and setup deal structures aligned to the specific deal with associated economics
  • Align to and provide support to deal team to get deals closed
  • Help create the customer's AI business strategy - You guide customers as they re-imagine and document their digital transformation journey.
  • Enable Continuous Innovation - You ensure that the organization creates an ongoing capability that will continue the digital transformation process throughout the company.
  • Connecting with customers across a variety of industries/verticals in order to understand business needs and deliver proposals to solve these challenges.
  • Delivering consultative knowledge for opportunities tied to AI/Gen AI.
  • Working across client teams to define, estimate and architect Generative AI solutions using ML and GenAI
  • Developing and promoting standards across the AI community
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate AI tools and machine learning models for tasks, as well as building and training working versions of those models using Python and other open-source technologies
  • Stay at the forefront of AI trends and technologies, driving continuous innovation within our offerings.
  • Shape and enhance messaging for AI solutions, aligning them with evolving client needs.
  • Provide invaluable support in sales processes, crafting detailed statements of work, responding to requests for information and proposals, and crafting customer roadmaps.
  • Oversee impactful demonstrations of AI tools and services, facilitating smooth integration and alignment with client environments.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a major business consultancy group (EX: Accenture Digital, McKinsey, CapGemini Digital etc.)
  • 5+ years of C-Level business development
  • 2+ years of experience and success in Artificial Intelligence type work
  • Our Strategic AI Business Advisors know their customer's business, the industry in which they operate, and how Unisys can help them drive their AI transformation
  • The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid capability in business development (see and structure the deal), consulting (put steps in place to get to the deal), sales (sell the deal).
  • In addition, this role requires strong leadership and people skills. The AI Advisors share a common set of characteristics and bring the experience that will drive innovation and customer value leveraging the following:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a major business consultancy
  • Broad understanding of the industry, including current and emerging AI Solutions, and experience managing large scale business change programs within one or more vertical industries (i.e., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Public Sector).
  • Executive presence, including ability to hold CXO level discussions, and executive-level, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of customers.
  • Track record of turning key relationships into durable "paid" engagements or contracts for products and/or services.
  • Situational awareness to adapt and solve challenges from a business and technology perspective.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources.
  • Consistent record of delivering business value, by bringing the benefits of technology to transform their business.
  • Ability to conceptualize, launch and plan the delivery of AI-enabled business change projects.
  • Passion for technology, business, market trends and, specifically, the Customer
  • Business development experience of structuring, negotiating and supporting complex deals (both at customer and internally).
  • Ability to become an advocate for Microsoft's vision and value proposition, and diverse offerings, by conceptualizing, planning and leading implementation/adoption of Microsoft technologies.
  • Familiarity with a broad spectrum of AI and ML technologies.
  • Experience in leading presales for AI initiatives (Consulting Experience)
  • Ability to display both breadth and depth of AI knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
