The primary role of the Sales & Customer Service Associate is to assist the sales department with small to medium-sized jobs as well as receiving and processing rebar orders and counter sales. The secondary mandate of the Junior Sales Associate is to assist the production manager and the department in the day-to-day functions to facilitate scheduling, fabrication, and delivery to our project sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The Sales & Customer Service Associate will price projects in Oracle CRM according to predetermined deadlines;
  • Assist clients with their rebar orders and handle counter sales;
  • Respond to phone calls regarding counter sales, including inquiries from walk-in customers and others;
  • Receive and process sales orders, bar lists, and tags;
  • Act as a backup for the Customer Account Representative/Sales Associate;
  • Conduct follow-ups for delivery and pick up;
  • Support the production manager and scheduler in their daily tasks;
  • Handle material receipts.

  • 2 to 3 years experience in sales or customer service;
  • High School or Professional Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Proficiency with Excel and strong computer/IT skills;
  • Great communication skills and strong multitasking abilities;
  • Speaks French (an asset)
  • Ability to read basic drawings (asset).
