Job Summary
The Auburn University Bookstore is excited to begin the search for a Student Receiving Associate! This position will assist with unloading trucks, processing merchandise, and assisting as needed for the 2024 Summer Semester.

Essential Functions

• Help unload freight trucks and record packages in the daily receiving log.


• Process merchandise downstairs and then deliver it to the appropriate department in a timely manner after it has been received.


• Ensure merchandise is tagged correctly, scans at the right price, and is free of damages.


• Assist on the sales floor and in other departments of the store as needed.


• Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions on the cash register.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student at Auburn University

Expectations:

• Be available to work home football game days


• Must be able to climb ladders.


• Must be able to climb stairs frequently.


• Must be able to lift approximately 10-25 lbs frequently.


• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs occasionally.


• Must be able to stand for 4 hours at a time.

$9.00/hour
