OVERNIGHT ENGINEER

Yountville, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

An Overnight Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities during nighttime hours. You will be responsible for monitoring and addressing any maintenance issues that may arise, ensuring the comfort and security of our guests throughout the night.

Schedule: 11pm – 7am

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and execute all maintenance activities during the overnight shift, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks, to uphold the highest standards of safety and comfort for guests
• Act as the primary responder to maintenance emergencies and urgent issues that arise during the night shift, promptly addressing and resolving them to minimize guest inconvenience
• Provide assistance to guests as needed during the night, including responding to inquiries, fulfilling requests for amenities or services, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and more, to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory levels, and provide detailed reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting notable incidents, trends, and recommendations for improvement
• Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific.
