Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 DOE

What you’ll do:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance team, analyzing financial information and data to provide strategic guidance to the organization. Will be responsible for interpreting financial results, developing financial models, and recommending adjustments and improvements to financial processes. You will also collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data to identify potential changes in business operations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports on current and projected performance along with variance analysis to budget and prior year with qualitative comments for senior management.
  • Reconcile and report financial data from local ERP system to corporate parent reporting systems.
  • Monitor and analyze economic trends to forecast future financial performance.
  • Key contributor in the budgeting/forecast process and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Act as a financial advisor to various departments.
  • Review policies and procedures for financial activities and make recommendations for improvements where required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize expenses.
  • Analyze financial data to identify and assess potential risks.
  • Liaise with external auditors and other financial professionals.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to current financial systems and procedures.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare information to assist in the monthly closings with the accounting team.
  • Audit contracts, agreements, and orders to assist in internal control procedures and reduce potential risks.

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and financial modeling.
  • Ability to develop complex financial models.
