Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple's workplaces and workplace services. We develop and manage Apples global real estate portfolio, lead capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated facilities professional to join our team that support and oversee aspects of the overall operations and maintenance of our facilities!

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility environment, with a focus on providing the best-in-class service to our customers, through experience on operating building systems and quality assurance of related Facilities services.
  • People and vendor management experience.
  • The capability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
  • Solid finance, budgeting, business administration, and analytic skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving proficiency.
  • Communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing services for the company.
  • Capability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise.
  • Work with relevant software applications, including work order or computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Efficiently carry out daily operations is crucial.
  • Experience with supervising related to Operations & Corrective Maintenance,
  • A team member who will roll up their sleeves and carry out both the supervision of staff, vendors and oversight of the day-to-day tasks.
  • Propose new and provide support for improvement-based methods.
  • Delegate individual tasks to related staff and vendor partners.
  • Detail oriented.


Description

- Provides direct supervision to professional in-house or offsite third-party vendors. - Acts as advisor to department and become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. - Maintain and provide backup documentation and communication to ensure achievement of all internal and external needs. - Awareness and general knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire / Life Safety, Building Automation, from both a corrective and preventive basis. - Provide training to new team members or vendor leads, to ensure that they are ready to go within our internal systems and processes. - Prepare regular reports, perform audit on various operations and evaluate processes as per business requirements and for optimization. - Keep accurate documentation of any incidents, including Root Cause Analysis. - Provide maintenance program support and regular updates to colleagues and customers. - Analyze all opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - The ability to see around corners and the desire to do the best work of your life to ensure that all employees can do their life's best work. - Experience with and ability to guide or assist with on-site reoccurring building and grounds services, such as landscaping, exterior site and building envelope cleaning, etc. - Maintain records of regulatory / operating permits, and utility accounts and relationships. - The ideal candidate will also have solid experience, but not limited to, with (FFE) Fixture, Finishes, & Equipment - service and repair. - Oversees the coordination of Operations relate services while supervising for best practices. - Plans, budgets, and schedules repairs and system improvements, including estimates on labor, materials, and checkout. - Designs and develops department strategies relevant to delivery of Facilities Operations. - Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel and vendor support, to ensure the efficient operations of all campus buildings and related systems. - Assist with tactical aspects of maintenance for equipment, machinery, and other building energy using systems. - Receive assignments in the form of objectives and goals and develop new or strengthen existing processes to meet or go above and beyond. - Provides oversight of and guidance to vendors according to established guidance. - Administers company policies that directly affect self and subordinate employees. - Respond to manager objectives and provide measure of how they are to be achieved. - Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors and situational awareness. - Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. - Frequently interact with department team members and functional peer groups, to gain agreement of others and remain aligned with department protocols. - Deliver presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

Education & Experience

Associate Degree or trade school equivalent

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $45.68 and $68.90/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
