Commercial Loan Officer - Shoreline Region (Full-Time) This position will cover our Shoreline Region which includes Member Centers in Benton Harbor, Coloma, Hartford, and South Haven. - Responsible for developing and maintaining business member relationships and identifying opportunities for growth within the communities the credit union serves.
- Leverages business network to create profitable relationships with business members by originating commercial loans, cross-selling products and generating deposits.
- Works with internal stakeholders to optimize the business member experience by filling the members needs and providing the highest level of service.
- Engages in community events to help strengthen business network.
- Works with the VP of Business Services and Director of Commercial Relationships to provide recommendations for improvement and help set the vision for growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
- One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services.
- Knowledge of Real Estate lending and documentation.
- Familiarity with commercial and industrial (C&I) lending preferred.
- Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent financial analysis abilities.
- Solid communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong public relations skills.
- Able to use all related computer applications and business machines.
- Strong organizational ability.
- Needs to be able to work independently in a remote setting.
