The Education Program Manager in the LIFT Lab will function as an education leader and research manager for development and implementation of long-term strategic program initiatives, objectives, and operational plans for immersive and active learning programs and activities. This role will entail primary oversight and management of the LIFT Labs immersive health system and community-based learning and research experiences that include immersive coursework and programming for a diverse set of learners, including those with unique goals and potential learning challenges (i.e., specific cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and/or psychological needs). A person in this position will be expected to lead the development and execution of specific curriculum and maintaining formative and summative evaluation processes in alignment with a variety of initiatives and funding mechanisms, including but not limited to research grants, implementation and consultation contracts, and advancement/philanthropic initiatives. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage and support the coordination of complex projects and teams that span education, research, clinical, and community partners.
Minimum Education RequiredBachelors Level Degree
Required QualificationsBachelors degree required with desired masters degree in education or relevant field and substantial experience managing large teams of varying levels of learners, staff, and collaborators from diverse fields and settings.A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational program management, curriculum development, or a related role, preferably within the specific educational sectors (e.g., higher education, K-12, vocational training, and/or healthcare settings). Desired applicants will have evidence of leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills. Experience and proficiency in using educational technologies and learning management systems are desired. Experience in program implementation, planning and administration required; experience in curriculum and organizational assessment and evaluation desired; computer literacy with demonstrated with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) desired. Previous experience in grant writing/implementation and/or fundraising preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
