CSL are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team at CSL Behring to support the implementation of Fill / Finish projects in Broadmeadows (Victoria, Australia).
Your Responsibilities
Based at Broadmeadows, this full-time role is responsible for the delivery of projects within the Filling, Visual Inspection (VI) and Packing areas of Broadmeadows operations. Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead - Fill Finish, key responsibilities include the following:
Plan, design, and oversee the delivery of new projects across Filling, Visual Inspection (VI) and Packing
Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company, or government restrictions, required completion date and construction feasibility
Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings
Support the preparation of requests for quotations and contracts for construction and facilities and equipment acquisition
Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labour, materials, preparation and other related costs
Direct and track construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications and schedules
Execute commissioning, testing and qualification of installed plants
Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical/Process) preferred. Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree. 3+ years experience in Engineering ideally within a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation or in a pharmaceutical operation or related, regulated industry. Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors and management. Good problem-solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills.
