The Food Service Aide is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining area. In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food.


Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm rotating working every 3rd weekend


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation of food and sack lunches, does necessary prep work.
  • Assists in serving food, maintains salad bar.
  • Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities.
  • Operates dish-washing equipment.
  • Cleans and checks service equipment.
  • Fills salt, pepper and napkin dispensers after each meal.
  • Assists in moving and storing supplies.
  • Works within established safety guidelines.
Requirements:

Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent.


Preferred: Three months experience in a food service area preferred.


Knowledge:

  • Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.
