Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role reports to the Lead Cabin Attendant and is responsible for safely and efficiently operating as cabin attendant in the aircraft while in compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, and company procedures.

Essential Functions

- Operates in a safe and efficient manner while in compliance with all Visa guidelines and policy, manufacturers' limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements of agencies having jurisdiction over the flight

- Understands the proper use of safety equipment

- Ensures that the appropriate safety equipment is onboard and in an operating condition

- Performs passenger safety briefings

- Instructs and assists passengers during an aircraft emergency

- Performs specified safety actions in the event of an onboard emergency

- Understands all details of the flight from the crew briefing

- Maintains the aircraft cabin, baggage, and galley area in an orderly, safe, and secure fashion

- Participates in the aircraft provisions stock and expiration process

- Provides menu planning, catering, and food preparation and presentation

- Ensures highest levels of safety and service are achieved relating to passenger and cabin safety, medical requirements, food safety and special requests

- Assists passengers and ensures their comfort throughout the flight and upon arrival

- Completes all assigned training and reports in a timely and accurate manner

- Assumes any duties delegated by the Lead Cabin Attendant and/or PIC.

Incumbent must make themselves available to support a corporate worldwide flight schedule

Travel Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 50% of the time

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Possesses 2 years of aviation related work experience
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact comfortably with senior level executives to establish and maintain control of the cabin environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods away from home
- Complies with Visa Inc. COVID-19 corporate policy
- Maintains appropriate inoculations for worldwide travel

Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 2 years of experience as CFR 91/135/121 cabin crew
- Successful completion of cabin attendant training in the last 12 months
- Possesses knowledge and training in aircraft safety procedures and the use of aircraft safety equipment, to include first aid kits, oxygen equipment, survival equipment, TEMPUS and AED
- Demonstrates familiarity with meal planning, safe food storage and handling, and catering procurement from international and domestic destinations
- Possesses administrative and communication skills necessary to coordinate with the aircrew, attend to passenger needs and fulfill corporate compliance

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 78,400 to 138,500 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
