Summary

The Infusion Clinic is seeking a part time CNA/Unit Secretary to join there team.

  • Position Summary This position consists of 8 hours per week.
    • Under the supervision of a nurse, the C.N.A. coordinates and organizes the clinical duties of the unit or department by acting as a contact person, receptionist, and secretary. The CNA portion of this role is in accordance with the established protocols, policies and procedures of Lincoln Health.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Graduate of a State-Approved CNA program. Active Certified Nurses Aide certification for the State of Maine. Current Basic Life Support Certification.
    • Experience: N/A
    • Secretarial skills with information technology skills and experience with medical terminology helpful.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Must possess and exhibit excellent customer service, communication and telephone skills. Need typing and computer skills at a basic to intermediate level.
