Temp to Perm
Monday to Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Palm Springs 33406
Salary rate: $18/h - $20/h

Description:

Motivating a team of production workers within a cosmetics or skincare company to meet production targets while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As a Line Leader, you will oversee production activities on the assembly line, monitor team performance, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and meet customers' demands in the cosmetics and skincare industry.

Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient resource utilization to meet targets and delivery schedules.
Coordinate production activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
Lead and coach a team of production line workers, ensuring optimal performance and teamwork.
Promote safety awareness and compliance in all production activities, conducting safety training and incident investigations.
Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Validate the accuracy of work orders and product quantities.
Ensure equipment setup according to production plans.
Perform line clearance operations and document production runs.
Monitor time and attendance records.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance for quality compliance.
Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
English and Spanish are preferred.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment such as:
- Safety glasses
- Long sleeve coat
- Hairnet
- Gloves
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Equivalent Experience.
1-2 years of operations management experience, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Minimum 3 years of extensive experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles in operations.
Proven track record in production management or manufacturing leadership, achieving targets, and implementing process improvements.
Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.
Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
