Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
The RN responsibilities include:
- Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Professional accountability and development.
- Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:
Certifications and Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- ACLS Certification is required
- Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education:
- Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience:
· 1 year of RN experience in acute care or 6 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required.
· 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred

Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
