Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and organized management of materials, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role involves overseeing the movement of goods, monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the warehouse environment.

Essential Functions

  • Organize incoming shipments of materials, products, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and placement.
  • Verify established criteria, and supply materials to production work centers.
  • Supply materials from Production work centers to Finished Goods locations.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate any equipment maintenance or repairs when needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of warehouse-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
  • Ability to become proficient using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
  • High level of patience and service.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software such as IFS, Cedar Bay, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and handling inventory.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.
