What You Can Expect

As our Project Management Advisor, IT Innovation in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America, you will identify new innovation opportunities that can solve key problems and deliver significant value to our Energy Solutions, Renewables, and Flexible Generation business units. Every day, you will report to the Portfolio Management Director to plan, execute, and finalize innovation proof of concept and pilot projects within budge and schedule. You will also be developing the business case, prioritize innovation opportunities, and coordinate the efforts of team members and technology vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan.

ENGIE's Digital Innovation program is supporting the development of new capabilities for Renewable Energy production leveraging new technology including drones, robots, and AI. This is an exciting opportunity to be a driver for innovation at ENGIE.

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering, information technology, or computer science
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution in a professional work setting
  • Previous experience collaborating with business stakeholders to identify capability gaps, key problems, and KPI's that can be addressed through technology innovations
  • Ability to maintain an innovation funnel and prioritize projects based on potential value, risk, and cost
  • Previous experience defining innovation project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Expert knowledge around developing business cases for full-scale deployment of successful technology solutions
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 - $172,500 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
