Five years Registered Nurse experience

Demonstrates leadership qualities

Self-directed

Excellent interpersonal skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations  

Current RN license in the state of Arkansas

Current BLS certification

Must have ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or task may be requested or assigned by immediate supervisor, his/her designee, or other management/supervisor.

• Customer Expectations

• Provides input to directors regarding the functions and qualifications for positions within the area.
• Provide an atmosphere which enhances employee belief and practice of the House Rules.
• Establishes standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective patient care or service.
• Promotes administrative policies and procedures for professional, technical and supportive staff.

• Stewardship

• Assigns/supports staffing which accomplish the objective and standards for the area, the shift and upcoming shifts.
• Develops and maintains the defined system of record keeping and reporting.
• Works with leaders to support patient care functions to meet defined objectives for:
  • Meeting personnel, supply and capital equipment needs.
  • Providing orientation.
  • Providing safety/risk management, infection control and other in-service/education needs.
