We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal intern to join our legal department for the summer 2024. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate legal environment. This is a REMOTE position, but may require travel to corporate events/meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents under the guidance of senior legal staff.

  • Commercial and Corporate Law: Support the legal team in matters related to commercial transactions, corporate governance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Human Resources: Assist with legal aspects of human resources, including employment law compliance, drafting employment agreements, and managing employee relations issues.

  • Legal Operations: Support legal operations initiatives, including process improvement projects, document management, and legal technology

  • implementations.

  • Ad Hoc Research: Conduct legal research on various topics as assigned and prepare summaries or memoranda for review by legal counsel.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited law school program.

  • Strong academic record with coursework in contracts, commercial law, and employment law preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is a plus.
