Description

The RN Clinical Educator for Radiology is a Registered Nurse with expertise in nursing education who influences the professional growth, development, and competence of all radiology personnel, including all modalities for both RNs and technicians. Responsible for participating in the planning, organization, implementation of education. Also responsible for orientation, onboarding, competency, and development of personnel for Interventional Radiology personnel as well as onboarding personnel in all radiology modalities. Maintains standards of professional performance required to include ethics, education/competency, quality practice, effective communication, leadership skills, collaboration, and evidence-based practice utilization.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current California RN License
  • Evidence of continuing education and self-development
  • Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Invasive and non-invasive Radiology procedure experience
  • Demonstrated teaching ability in formal and informal setting
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • ACLS Instructor
  • CRN (Certified Radiology Nurse)
  • M.S.N. Degree
