JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) plays a central and critical function within Delta Dental. Our focus is on governing our data assets, enabling business insights, and promoting the use of data and analytics.

This position will support our efforts by performing key data and analytics functions, including, but not limited to:
  • Performs data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Works with Technology and business stakeholders to streamline and automate data collection process
  • Supports efforts to document data sources, metrics definitions, and calculations
  • Maintains our Data & Analytics communications channels (e.g. SharePoint, Confluence) with new and updated information


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attends meetings and document discussions and decisions
  • Supports projects by generating insights through use of Power BI, SQL, and other tools
  • Supports internal data & analytics communications via maintenance of SharePoint and Confluence sites
  • Uses data governance tools to document metrics and KPIs


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools
  • Proficiency with programming languages for automation (preferred, not required)
  • Data analysis skills

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $46,359.14 - $93,100
