Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
  • Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms and form factors, including Android.
  • Portfolio highlighting design which includes some mobile work and consumer-facing work.
  • Ability to have hybrid design skills including: Motion Design, Design Sprint, Prototyping, Hardware, and Human Factors/Usability.
  • Ability to be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive stages of UX design process in a technical environment with the conceptualization, design, prototype and specification of user interfaces for products.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering company partners in Android, Nest, and more to drive a cohesive and delightful experience across Fundamental experiences for Pixel devices.
  • Guide problem solving with teams to develop new solutions, and push and evolve smartphone and tablet experiences.
