Discover Impactful Work:

Be an integral part of an exceptional team dedicated to supporting the manufacturing of consumables for Next Generation Sequencing! This role is primarily focused on supporting Filling and Assembly, where success is achieved through collaborative team efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply sophisticated departmental knowledge to facilitate problem resolution and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and proactively coach team members on safety topics.
  • Implement safety solutions as part of a root cause countermeasure process (RCCM).
  • Lead daily team meetings within the department.
  • Use established reporting mechanisms to compile daily production metrics in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Production.
  • Coordinate the team's workload, deployment, and workflow daily.
  • Hold the team accountable for daily commitments and coordinate the work of others to ensure goals are met.
  • Dedicate time with Production Planners to establish an optimal schedule for the team.
  • Assess data and provide recommendations when production challenges arise.
  • Independently assess the impact of production issues and formally bring them up when appropriate.
  • Consult with Engineering, Facilities, and/or Maintenance on specific equipment or department issues.
  • Initiate problem reports for deviations and non-conforming material within our Quality Management System.
  • Be a process owner within our Quality System and perform root cause investigation, disposition, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct formal root cause analysis using existing data and improve work instructions or standard operating procedures.
  • Own, facilitate, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while being well-organized, thorough, and proficient at multitasking.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Positive demeanor towards the job and others!
  • Highly motivated and dedicated
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office to analyze data and prepare presentations
  • Tried experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or GMP manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Experience with Good Documentation Practices (preferred).
