Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Millwright - 3rd Shift to be based out of our Phoenix, AZ facility. Reporting to the shift supervisor, this person will be broad responsibility for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and working on a variety of different equipment. This person will need to work with the production and maintenance team to communicate issues and ensure quality production.
What you'll do:
Install, maintain, modify, and repair all mechanical systems and associated equipment.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and associated piping.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical power presses and associated support equipment.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Utilize blueprints and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation.
Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
Must maintain production standards to meet internal and external customer demand.
Responsible for the accurate completion of all paperwork, transactions, tags, etc.
Adhere to all Life Saving Rules, including Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding/Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocols
Ensure Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are met daily.
Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas.
All other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring:
High School Diploma/GED
Five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic math and verbal skills.
Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery.
Ability to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to lead, assist, and/or instruct employees in the performance of their duties, as requested.
Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends.
