Job Description
The Logistics Manager is responsible for oversight of the packaging, labeling, storage and shipping of product to customers, vendors, and 3rd parties. This requires impeccable attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills. This position also oversees internal movement of materials around the shop, storage at our warehousing facility, and works as a member of the team to ensure proper flow of material.
Education/Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent is required
Experience with packaging and order fulfillment, inventory tracking, data entry in a manufacturing environment
Experience in production and supply chain management
Management experience
Minimum of 3 years of inventory control experience
Technological Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Database systems
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to prioritize and execute packaging and fulfillment requests
Highly detail-oriented
Comprehensive understanding of and adherence to state regulations, company policies and SOPs
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to take initiative, make decisions and be proactive.
Proficient written and verbal communications skills
Proven efficiency and ability to prioritize and manage time and tasks for self and others
Strong self-management and supervisory management skills
