Demand Planning Manager

About the Role

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the overall timely and optimal flow of JTI finished goods from production to & within our US distribution network. This includes demand forecasting, demand planning, supply network planning & inventory control / optimization across the network, ensuring optimal inventory levels for all SKUs, across the US distribution network.

What you will do

  • Produce monthly demand forecast factoring in multiple data sources including historical sales trends, planned marketing and sales activities, upcoming legislative changes, LE's and ASP targets at SKU level.
  • Arrange cross functional monthly forecast review meetings and monitor and communicate forecast accuracy, inventory levels etc
  • Responsible for demand / production planning with JTI Factories and / or 3rd partymanufacturers.
  • Working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent supply to support base line demand & promotional activity to meet Market requirements and ensure continuous supply of finished goods.
  • Responsible to ensure continuous supply across the whole US distribution network, including warehouse transfers, promotional SKUs, new product launches etc in line with business requirements / customer demand.
  • Execute SAP transactions related to forecasting, demand planning and inventory control including PO creation, inbound shipment receipts & material master updates.
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.

Who We Are Looking For

A well-organized, passionate, and detailed-oriented person, with:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Chain planning experience. Prefer experience with both supply and demand planning. Exposure and understanding of offshore production and import logistics is desirable. FMCG organizational experience preferred
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
  • Must be computer literate with strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience. SAP or other ERP system experience required
  • Good relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Focus on high results. Constant striving for maximum accuracy
  • Solid organizational and time management skills needed to prioritize work and meet deadline commitments
