We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Supervisor (7:00am - 3:30pm) with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Delegate operator labor
• Take ownership of the shift
• Work with technicians to decide which presses to run
• Ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed in the facility
• Ensures all job functions are performed on the production floor
• Enforcement of company rules, regulations, and policies
• Ensure all job set up and workflows meet safety, manning and production requirements
• Provide input as needed to update planning, work instructions or system procedures
• Provide participation in interviewing, selecting, and training of new hires
• Strive to continuously improve operations
• Take ownership of the shift
• Lead by example

Desired Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 7 years' experience
• Computer proficiency required
• Goal oriented team player
• Experience using ERP system (SAP, IQMS or similar)
• Lean Continuous Improvement training or experience a plus
• Effective communication with all levels of organization and customers
• Ability to manage and motivate staff
• Responsible for employee performance reviews
• Action oriented with the ability to act independently, analyze a situation, recommend ideas and build consensus for solutions
• Strong customer service orientation

• Self-starter, high level of initiative
