Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all quality control processes to ensure product specifications, analytical procedures, sampling programs and control systems are appropriate and meet system capability and key customer requirements. Additional responsibilities involve assisting the development, validation and maintaining Food Safety and Food Quality systems consistent with the SQF Code certification requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrated computer knowledge required. Ability to lift 35 pounds. Good sense of taste smell and touch. Basic math and reading skills required. Strong product knowledge preferred. Knowledge of the U.S.D.A. approved Net Weight Program preferred. Follow all policy and procedures including Standard Operating Procedures. Follow all safety procedures. Must have overall knowledge of recipes and finish product specifications. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Willingness to work multiple shifts for special projects/auditing. Physical Requirements: (with or without reasonable accommodation):
