Assembling Mark V circuit-switchers at one of several stations, ranging in size from 6' x 10' x 10' to 15' x 15' x 15'.
Assembling TR-II switches, ranging in size up to 5' x 1' x 1' to 11'x 1' x 1'.
Identifying, transporting, installing, mounting and bolting all switch components (ranging from 5 lbs. to over 100 lbs. with assistance). Some judgment required to assemble and make simple adjustments.
Performing mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdriver and tape measure, and electrical inspection using a test console.
Using simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges and instruments, and overhead cranes.

Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly operations preferred
Demonstrate the skills to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
Ability to use shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.
