Job Description Summary
This position works independently or within a team to assemble quality poly components for furniture.Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up glue station machine, adjusting for each job
* Applies glue according to print.
* Assembler poly parts according to La-Z-Boys quality requirements.
* Inspect work visually for defects according to our quality standards
* Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
* Accurately complete ticket process in system
* Maintain parts storage and inventory on work order.
* Ability to operate equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
* Continuous improvement of detailed jobs in gluing process.
* Controlling quality and waste.
* Demonstrates teamwork and motivation for job requirements.
* Follow health and safety standards.
* Maintain a clean work area.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
* Basic reading and writing skills
* Ability to lift 5-15 pounds.
* Ability to read basic blueprints.
* Basic computer skills
* Achieve performance standards
* Excellent attendance; 2 points or less.
PREFERRED REQURMENTS:
* Bilingual
