Reporting to the Manager of Platform Services, theSupervisor - Storage and Backupwill be responsible for leading the Storage and Backup Engineering team. This involves assisting in both of the operational and tactical aspects of the Backup and Network Teams, project commitments, resource assignments and some technical hands on work as well.

Your Day To Day
* Supervising our global backup and Storage team covering the implementation, support and development of the Storage and Backup environments.
* Performing quarterly reviews of your direct reports.
* This is a working supervisor role, there will be hands on aside from supervisor responsibilities.
* Managing small to medium sized projects.
* Assist in the management of the Storage and Backup Services operational queues.
* Escalation Point in the response to priority incidents.
* Diagnosing and resolving complex issues, providing the engineers second level support
* Assisting in the operational maintenance and support of the Backup and Storage systems including Cohesity, Tivoli Storage Manager, EMC, and Pure.
* Assist in implementing automation where possible.
* Ensure team documentation are up to date and assist the teams in coaching or documenting where needed.
* Ensuring redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place where applicable, coaching the team where needed.
* Performing any other related duties prioritized by the Platform Services Manager.
Who You Are:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* High level expertise or subject matter expert in Enterprise Storage & Enterprise Backup Solutions
* Experience in a complex, global engineering and manufacturing organization.
* Demonstrated success in leading large, global Infrastructure teams
* Experience in project managing small to mid sized projects
* Experience delivering highly complex, global programs and projects
* Open to travel once or twice a year for projects or team building sessions
* 7+ years' experience hands on support and troubleshooting of Infrastructure Services.
* 3+ years' experience successfully leading geographically diverse technical teams
- Cohesity and Pure preferred
