What a Maintenance Technician will do:

• Perform setup and changeovers on packaging lines
• Perform planned, corrective, and unplanned maintenance on specified equipment
• Use available documentation for equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Ensure safety in the workplace by eliminating unsafe conditions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
• Document all work activities within the maintenance management software
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagrams, or schedule form

What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma, or GED 
• 3+ years of related experience in a food-grade facility 
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages
• Ability to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and have a working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Knowledge of business and manufacturing software (HMIs, PLCs, and manufacturing controls)
