Description
Parallel Employment is assisting a local Manufacturer located in Westfield, NY, with their search for a Quality Assurance (QA) Associate. The QA Associate will work independently but within the Bakery and will learn where to find all the specifications required for components. Associate will be the last line of defense against quality defects coming off the line.
This position is for a 2nd shift and will report to the Quality Manager. Training will be on 1st shift then switch to 2nd Shift.
Pay Ranges from $18-19/HR Based on Experience
Other Responsibilities:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read customer specifications
- Work well in a team environment.
- Maintain good attendance in accordance with Company attendance policies.
- Communicate all repetitive defects and/or important issues to Quality Manager and Line Leaders in a timely fashion.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have Experience in QA
- Must be able to lift 50 Pounds
- Must remain flexible regarding shift hours and responsibilities.
- Must be willing to cross-train and assist in any area as needed.
- Must have acceptable visual acuity.
