Functions as a productive member of the MTO team to meet or exceed production schedules safely and in accordance with all company and plant policies, rules, and procedures.

Follows production sequence and schedule, working at a pace to maintain or exceed production requirements within safety/health, environmental, and quality requirements; notifying supervisor or other appropriate personnel of any deviations, or issues in a timely manner.

A Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
B Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
C Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Mid Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
This role involves setting up tooling and downstream equipment, starting production lines, and supporting extrusion operations under the guidance of the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and shut down extrusion machines.
Address quality issues when operators are unable to do so.
Perform quality inspections to ensure high standards.
Handle materials for extrusion lines, assist operators, dispose of scrap, and operate lines as needed.
Adjust in-line production to correct errors.
Calculate and document daily run times for extrusion orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, basic math and measuring skills, and 1-2 years of extrusion or manufacturing experience. Must be able to read instructions, operate a forklift, and handle warehouse equipment. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and proactive in compliance with safety regulations. Flexible to work overtime, have reliable transportation, and can stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to uncontrolled temperatures, loud noises, and dust; safety glasses provided.
