Position Summary:
SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator: Cerakote Coating to perform daily activities associated with the manufacture of coated goods using automated and manual equipment and processes to meet end customer needs. Technician will be required to operate a robotic spray booth by monitoring process parameters, preparing coatings, loading and unloading products, basic maintenance of paint system, etc. This role will report to the Machining Supervisor and is based in Exeter, NH.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Ability to mix chemicals together using a scale following a predetermined formula to create the coating mixture.
*Ability to set-up and operate a CNC controlled robot, adding coating, monitoring robot spray, ability to adjust on the fly.
*Maintain production quality and output.
*Ability to load, unload and operate sand blast equipment.
*Scoops media into holding tank of sand-blasting equipment when necessary.
*Takes direction to learn machine operation, setup and maintenance.
*Commits minimal documentation errors.
*Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex, mechanically operated machinery.
*Capable of following work instructions.
*Reports any problems, deviation, or quality concerns to a lead/supervisor.
*Inspect and gauge parts.
*Ability to keep parts organized by job router.
*Ability to clean parts using solvent.
*Ability to work in and maintain a clean environment.
*Claim parts using oracle software.
* Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
*Experience working with coating or painting in a professional environment or schooling preferred.
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi task, and adapt quickly to change
*Works well in a team environment.
*Good communication skills
*Basic computer and math skills required
*Knowledge of coating operations is beneficial
*Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to make it to work every day

Working Conditions:
* Able to lift up to 25 pounds
* Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
