Exciting direct-hire opportunity alert! Staffmark is delighted to introduce a new direct-hire position for a Fulfillment Technician in Paterson, NJ, partnering with a prominent local food manufacturing company.


Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Shift: 1st Shift Available


The Fulfillment Technician plays a crucial role in compiling samples for the sales and R&D teams. This role involves meticulous inventory management, precise scaling of raw materials, and accurate preparation of samples. The technician ensures proper packaging, generates labels, and produces Certificate of Analysis documents for each sample. They oversee the shipping process and provide timely updates to the sales and R&D teams. Maintaining a clean workspace and fulfilling other duties assigned by the Director of R&D are also key responsibilities.


Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of R&D to compile samples for both sales and R&D teams.
  • Efficiently manage inventory and maintain a well-organized work environment.
  • Properly package samples and prepare them according to established protocols.
  • Generate labels and COA documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Execute shipping processes and communicate status updates to teams.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Director of R&D.


The essential qualifications for this role include a solid understanding of testing equipment, along with 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience. Strong mathematical skills are required, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess analytical and interpretive abilities. A high school diploma or GED is necessary, and fluency in English is required. The work environment entails operating in a warehouse setting with moving mechanical parts, lifting up to 55lbs regularly, and frequently bending, kneeling, and using upper body and back muscles. Precise finger and palm movements are necessary for small tasks, and average visual acuity is required for various activities.
