QA Inventory Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance (QA) Inventory Coordinator is to receive shipments for monthly audits from both the Distribution Centers (DC's) and Manufacturing Laundry Locations and inputting the headers for these audits into the internal QA SPECS system. Once the monthly audits have been completed, Inventory Coordinator is responsible for sorting garments by 1st Quality, Irregular, and Special and creating shipping documents and moving inventory in the SAP system through Stock Transfer Orders (STO's).

Responsibilities:

  • Receive in audits from 5 Domestic DC's. All 5 DC audits will contain a total of 2000 garments (1850 bottoms and 150 tops) to be sorted, tagged for audit and marked for return to DC. Once appropriate garments are tagged for audit, an audit header is created by DC Location (Mocksville, Hackleburg, Luray, Seminole, or El Paso) and Date. Each garment is entered with header data including Material Number/Production Order (PO) or Manufacturing Production Order (MPO)/Pattern/Size information. Each garment's UPC is read to verify readability and RFID's are read to verify match between Care/UPC/RFID. All audit garments are then boxed and given to auditor to perform audit of garments.
  • Receive in audits from 3 Manufacturing Laundry Locations. These audits will contain 50 pieces per location (Torreon/Acanceh/Nicaragua). QA Inventory Coordinator will tag all received garments, identify wash standard used on the garment and locate standards for VCI review during the audit process Will read all garments against the standard on the Spectro machine. Once all garments have a Spectro reading, an audit header is created by location which includes material number/MPO/Fabric/Shipping Location/Pattern/Wash Code/Spectro Reading/UPC and RFID Verification.
  • Pack all boxes for garments to be returned to the DC sorted by 1st Quality, Irregular, and Special. Pack all boxes to be returned to the Manufacturing Laundry Locations Create shipping forms for all shipments and request documentation for any international shipments.
  • Maintain inventory levels in SAP by receiving Inbound audits into the system and creating STO's for Outbound audits. Handles any troubleshooting for garments that do not flow correctly in and out of inventory.
  • Perform tasks as needed for backup in the audit and returns area. This may include measuring garments, inputting returns into Access system, requesting Return Acquisitions (RAs) for inventory not handled through STO, shipping garments for returns and CTL as needed.

Leadership:

  • Technical Requirements - Microsoft Office - Advanced level Excel Skills, Navigate SharePoint, Navigate OneDrive, Basic Math (+/-,%), Fractions and Decimals, Read Ruler and Measure
  • Multitasker - must be able to manage incoming and outgoing shipments simultaneously
  • Communication - must have good verbal and written skills to clearly communicate with other Kontoor teams
  • Organization and Multi-Tasking - Employee must have good organizational skills and time management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred 2 year or Technical Degree
  • Previous computer skills required (Microsoft Systems)
  • Previous Garment Audit Experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Previous Manufacturing/Sewing Experience is a positive but not a requirement
