Our client, in Steel Fabrication & Structural Steel Industry, is seeking a Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will be supporting Quality, Production, and Sales. The ideal candidate will have CWI, Steel Erection, and Steel Fabrication knowledge which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Estimator

Location: Cocoa, FL

What’s the Job?

• Estimators assess project requirements, interpret construction drawings, calculate costs for materials, labor, and overhead. 
• You will collaborate with suppliers, analyze blueprints, and provide accurate bids for Steel Fabrication projects.
• Attention to detail and a good understanding of construction processes are key.
• Responsibilities will also include projects from Miscellaneous Steel, Stairs, Railings, Carbon, Stainless and Aluminum. Additional duties and responsibilities may change as needed.

What’s Needed?

• 5 or more years’ experience estimating in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints, shop, contract drawings, specifications, front end documents, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of AISC standards and industry code
• Must have strong communication skills
• Perform detailed Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) for construction projects
• Participate in estimate review and reconciliation meetings
• Aerospace/ Theme Park experience
