Position Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):

  • Responsible for planning and implementing corporate or business line marketing programs and projects that support Auto Club Group (ACG) marketing goals and objectives.
  • Guides and monitors multiple, concurrent marketing projects across marketing channels from initiation through implementation to ensure program goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Develop email and e newsletter content for Travel line of business within ACG
  • Monitoring and evaluating online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective
  • Assist with and develop marketing invoices for co-op partners
  • QA creative output
  • Obtain timely approvals from key reviewers and subject-matter experts to ensure quality, on time project delivery.
  • Understands, documents, coordinates and improves processes relevant to scope of work.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal partner work groups (e.g., product lines and business areas) and vendors, as appropriate, within a diverse product, cross-functional environment.
  • Maintains and applies current marketing knowledge for assigned area(s) of expertise.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable marketing related laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines.
  • Documents project status using project tracking software programs as indicated.

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience in marketing industry

Experience:

  • Develop marketing campaigns, includingdirect mail, email marketing, social media and digital advertising.
  • Evaluating marketing, including constructing campaign decks to show the starting points, how it worked and the results.
  • Support the optimization of the company's website and assisting with the landing page creation using Adobe
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO), lead generation, and email marketing
  • Quality Assurance
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word) & Photoshop or photo editing tool
  • Developing and maintaining effective client relationships and communications
  • Supporting planning meetings with management and business line staff
  • Effective project management of multiple, concurrent small to large-scale projects
  • Working effectively in a cross-functional environment

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • prioritizing and managing multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • preparing and presenting marketing presentations

  • Summarizing and communicating marketing results

  • Digital marketing and advertising principles and applications

  • Photo asset collection and organization, copywriting and editing

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word) & Photoshop or photo editing tool

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Business Administration or related field

  • 3-5 years Marketing experience in a multiple, diverse product environment or ad agency.

  • Travel industry experience.

  • Photoshop or photo editing tool experience

  • Copywriting and proofreading

  • Use of/experience in Adobe Experience Manager

  • Three or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising

  • Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool

  • Understands website metrics and best practices

  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends within digital marketing

  • Experience in social media monitoring tools

  • Experience in social media analytic tools (Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, )

Work Environment

This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities. Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or teambuilding events.

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations.

Total Compensation Overview:

  • TheMarketing Planning Program Specialist II will earn a competitive salary of $49,000.00 - $76,400 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.Excellent and comprehensive benefits packages are just another reason to work for the Auto Club Group. Benefits include:
