Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the receiving, tagging, sorting and pulling of all Core.


Primary Duties

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm



Primary Duties:




  • Physical pulling and packing of product for customer sales orders.

  • Receive, inspect, properly label, and put away inbound inventory in an organized and safe manner.

  • Safely operate forklift.

  • Loading and unloading of trucks.

  • Cycle counting of inventory.

  • Proper packaging/boxing of product and/or building of skids for shipment to minimize possible damage during shipment.

  • Dock work.

  • Verifying correct part numbers.

  • Verifying and counting of product/pieces.

  • Any other work assignments.

  • Physical requirements of pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and lifting of product.

  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

  • Ability to work standing on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day



Requirements:




  • Warehouse/distribution experience preferred.

  • Forklift experience preferred.


Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers

  • Proficient in CMS

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Must be able to obtain forklift license

  • Must have basic computer/data entry skills

  • Ability to stand all day, stoop & bend andlift upto 50 lbs.

  • Must have clean driving record for past three years & pass DOT drug screen if assigned to drive box truck

  • Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements

  • Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function

  • Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances

  • Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences

  • Working Conditions:Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during Summer months.


Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous warehouse experience required
