In Delta, under the responsibility of the Quality Control Manager, the position holder assists the latter in his functions.
Main tasks and responsibilities of the position :
- Carries out and interprets tests for the following departments: Quality Control, Production and Technical Services, according to the needs.
- Does the quality verification and evaluation of the products (raw materials / finished goods).
- Daily data entry of test results into QC Applications software.
- Prepares statistics data.
- Communicates various data to the concerned departments.
- Applies the procedure for the quarantined products.
- Applies good laboratory practices.
- Maintains his work area.
- Carries out special projects when needed.
- Gives a daily report of activities to the QC Manager.
- Participates in the application of the ISO standards.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Any other related tasks.
- College Degree in Chemistry or Nature Science and one (1) year of experience in a similar environment.
- Good coordination and dexterity.
- Can do chemical analysis interpretation.
- Preparation and production of tests.
