Job Overview

Oversee all aspects of Cardiac Surgery manufacturing, including, incoming inspection, planning, and manufacturing. Ensure on time delivery of the product at the best possible cost, while conforming to all quality requirements.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Responsible for the production and quality of all CS and VI products produced at the Wayne facility.
• Direct planning, organization and implementation of incoming inspection, planning, and manufacturing in order to support strategic goals and objectives in a cost-effective manner consistent with safety and environmental considerations.
• Ensures production of acceptable quality goods on-time
• Drive efficiency improvements and cost savings initiatives to reduce the cost of goods to ensure business competitiveness.
• Ensures departmental compliance with Getinge quality policy and consistently meets the quality requirements of our customers. Reduce the cost of quality by doing things right the first time.
• Partner with cross functional groups in order to achieve plant and departmental objectives.
• Manages Managers, Supervisors, and direct labor in the attainment of department goals and requirements.
• Assists in coordinating and implementing requests for products required for R & D projects or special manufacturing runs for marketing.
• Participates in and leads corrective actions.
• Participates in and leads Manufacturing Excellence program in production.
• Coordinates with Material Management in order to ensure prompt and economical receipt of needed materials and supplies, and delivery of finished goods to customers.
• Develops and administers manufacturing staffing plans to meet committed build plan.
• Develops and maintains reports and metrics pertaining to production quality, quantity, and efficiency and takes corrective actions as required.

Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline is preferred, however a combination of education and related experience is acceptable.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in operations is required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device facility. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Previous knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, GMP's and ISO 9000 is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate the ability to coach and develop others, foster teamwork, and influence others.
• Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and implement change and be able to work collaboratively to drive improvements and results.
• Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills are required. , Familiarity with Kepnor Tregoe is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills are required.
• products or equivalent software application is preferred. SAP experience is highly desirable.

Salary: $150K - $168K + Bonus targeted at 25% (depending on overall company performance)
