Applies broad level maintenance and reliability knowledge and expertise across the full spectrum of surface facility maintenance activities, including inspection, troubleshooting, repair and both preventative and predictive maintenance.

Oversee refinery-wide Quality Management (QM) program to provide quality assurance of Chevron and Contractor work. Oversee contract support resources and provide guidance to QM Analysts (Fabrication, Machinery, and I&E). Maintain QM work processes that are aligned with other Manufacturing sites to provide a consistent work product and tools. Evaluate refinery work processes to influence and improve effective QM implementation.

  • Assist in developing quality plans for CSG, Routine, and Small Capital Projects.

  • Provide support to other refinery organizations as needed, e.g., answering requests, providing QM or other SME support for Maintenance events and coaching others.

  • Provide support during all phases of maintenance work for Turnarounds, Routine Maintenance, and Small Capital Project events by participating in meetings (e.g., Start of Shift and team meetings).

  • Work with maintenance teams to obtain event information and build database prior to project or execution of an event.

  • Develop QM presentation and present during Turnaround and Project kick off meetings.

  • Review Work Orders, to determine what Quality Control documentation is required.

  • Review submitted QA/QC documentation for accuracy and adherence to company standards.

  • Perform in-process inspections.

  • Support/Develop/Utilize Process Tools and technology.

  • Assist in resolving field issues where quality is or could become an issue.

  • Perform and document audits, this consists of field audits with mechanics, inside and outside shop audits, and audits on submitted documentation. Communicate audit results and findings to affected parties.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in petrochemical manufacturing

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Strong leadership experience and skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and translate to value.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex and diverse datasets.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,500 – $196,400 .
