_*Production Mail Inserter Operator*_
_The Production Mail Inserter Operator is a key role responsible for executing daily print production requirements in our 24/7 print operation. This position emphasizes consistent adherence to our Quality Management System to ensure high standards are met._
_*Shift and Hours : 3rd Shift 10:00PM to 6:30AM and 2nd Shift 3:00PM to 11:30PM *_
*Position Type:* _Full Time, Regular_
*Pay:* _$17.00 to $18.50 Per Hour dependent upon experience, skills and job related knowledge_
*Job Summary:* _*Production Mail Inserter Operator*_
*Essential Functions & Responsibilities:*
· *Operate High-Speed Inserting Equipment:* Utilize advanced inserting machines to manage high-volume mail production.
· *Adhere to Policies:* Follow all facility policies, including health and safety, building security, data protection, and maintaining a harassment-free workplace
· *Follow Procedures:* Strictly adhere to Offsite Services procedures and work instructions. Operator has the responsibility for achieving full production
· *Communication:* Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors. As a member of the production team, the operator of any shift, must be able to communicate effectively with others regarding production problems relating to mailing material and equipment. Must read and understand job instructions in order to complete the job efficiently.
· *Production:* Operator has the responsibility for achieving full production potential, with 100% mail count integrity, at their machine for each shift.
· *Multi-Tasking:* Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Work with other operators as a team to achieve maximum production output.
· *Attendance:* Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
*Key Skills:*
· *Machinery Experience:* Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting high-speed inserting equipment. Must be able to clear machines jams and make minor equipment adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot and identify issues with machine performance.
· *Mechanical Knowledge:* Experience with belts, gears, and potentially flow track systems. Monitor and adjust inserting machine at the start of your shift to ensure maximum performance. Perform quality checks on all output at workstation.
· *Operations:* Operate and maintain efficiency goals at all times when running mail production machine.
· *Logistics Experience:* Background in packing, warehouse operations, and shipping.
· *Learning and Adaptability:* Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
· *Willingness to Work Overtime:* Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* *We are not requiring a certain amount of years of experience. The manager is looking for skills related to Machines, operation of machines, repairing machines, mechanical knowledge, troubleshoot and identify issues with machine performance, production goals, meeting and exceeding production requirements, etc. *
*Pay Disclosure:*
"The pay range for this position starts at $17.00 to $18.50 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
