We are seeking Mixers and weigher ( for mixing ingredients)
*Mixer and helper Job Description:*
*Essential Position Functions and Duties:*
* Obtain daily raw material sheets from lead person. Insure ingredients are available
* Prepare and label bags and containers
* Inspect and calibrate weighing scale to insure accuracy. Inspect all equipment for cleanliness.
* Help with any duties pending.
* weigh each ingredient based on raw material sheet and place in box
* write lot number of each ingredient on the raw material sheet. Initial each ingredients.
* all other duties as assigned
*Required Qualifications and Competencies:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in food manufacturing industry in processing a plus
* Knowledge: basic mathematics-addition, subtraction, multiplication; must be able to use a calculator
* English Language (Speaking/Listening/Writing); Spanish a plus
* Must be able to read, write and understand the Raw Material Sheet
* Skills: Communication skills verbal and written, reading comprehension, active listening, problem solving, coordination, service orientation, multitasking
*Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing industry in processing
* Knowledge: basic mathematics-addition, subtraction, multiplication; must be able to use a calculator
* English Language (Speaking/Listening/Writing); Spanish a plus
* Must be able to read, write and understand the Raw Material Sheet
* Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, reading comprehension, active listening, problem solving, coordination, service orientation, multitasking
*Supervisory Responsibilities:*
This position hads no supervisory responsibilities
*Expected Working Hours*
This is a full-time position, and basic hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
2nd shift starts at 1:45pm-9:45
